What Type Of Music File Do You Have To Use
Well I lost my Mp3 that I only used for recording, now i use a actual recorder but when i save it to my desktop it wont let me see it at all. Im guessing the problem is that it isnt the right type of Music File. So can someone tell me what format/type of file it has to be, and can someone send me links to a FREE music converter or something that will let me change the type so i can use it in scratch?

You post wasn't there when I started writing mine.. and we both came up with audacity. I haven't been able to get some .mp3 files to work either.

actually scratch doesn't read all MP3s, sometimes I have to edit them in a sound studio, but actually that's because they have a type of security on them

Like JSO and Josh99 said, it should take wav and mp3. If they dont work then your audio file probably has some wierd secuirity setting.

Just go to scratch, click on sounds, then click on record, that's all you have to do
