That's definitely NOT a good idea. There are some scratchers with good projects, but their posting style is bad (e.g. [removed by Forum Moderator]). And it's sometimes easier to type...

This is WAY WAY WAY overboard. I mean, what if a kind Scratcher was trying to make a newb feel good by saying,"LOLZ ROFL!!!! Your project is so funny make more pls!!!" and then he gets banned? Although stuff like rude words should be filtered....

I think this is just going TOO far. If someone likes to type lik dis, then they should be able to, it might be hard to read, but thats how they want to do it. L337 speak is a bit annoying, but its cool and is clever. But theres no reason to be banned for it. If, after translation, is spam then maybe a warning, but saying OMG and LOL, though I don't always Like it when someone says OMG, but they're just acronyms.

I suppose it is annoying when people speak like: "OMG HI LOL WAT U DOIN LOL COOL!!!11" but lots of people say lol once in a while when they feel something this funny.
Maybe in the rules say something like "Take time over your grammar, more people will read your post if you will" but not actually ban them if they do speak like that.

The only time I really see that type of comment is on frontpaged projects - but I don't really visit them much...

Most people who write like that don't post a lot, and if they do, most of the time it's just spam, so they get banned anyways.
So bad grammar isn't really a problem at the moment.
