Many of you old-timers may remember Technoman's "Olympics Scratched Up" contests from last year. He has long since left Scratch and has passed the contest on to me, which I am hosting as of now.

CREATING A TEAM:
A team may have 4 members maximum, and 4 members minimum. Your team may only participate in the contest once it has met this requirement. That number includes the team captain, which is usually the founder. You can create a forum topic to organize your team, and once you have met the four-member requirement you can officially register your team here, and begin project discussion.![]()
REGISTRATION FORM:
Team Name: __________
Team Country: ________
Captain: ______
Member: _____
Member: _____
Member: _____Your team can create 1-3 projects which the captain can enter into the official contest gallery. Lastly, your team needs a way to advertise. Tradtionally, this has been done with a banner. More on projects and banners below.
CREATING PROJECTS:
Your Projects can be anything- games, music, sims, stories, movies, interactive art, etc. Just make the best thing you can, because I will be picking tough judges. You may enter 1-3 projects into the official contest gallery to enter it into the contest. You may work solo, or in collaboration, but If I catch a team in which one person does all of the work that team will receive an 8-point penalty when judging ends (see below for more on judging)
TIPS ON PROJECTS:
-many heads are better than one! If a team works together, they will be able to create good projects faster, and more projects means more points!
-make projects simple and fast, this will improve your projects' performance score
-unique ideas will make your creation stand out from the rest, so try to use as many original ideas as possible!
RESOURCES:
BOOM Music! - music
Scratch Resources - sprites, backgrounds, scripts, sounds
BANNERS AND ADVERTISEMENT:
Your team will need a good way to advertise, and I highly recommend building on this banner template I have prepared ahead of time:
Also available In other colors:Your banner should look something like this when you are done:
Just remember to replace the "? boxes" with the avatar of your members. The captain goes in the gold box.![]()
---
IF YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO EDIT THE TEMPLATE, I WILL GLADY DO IT FOR YOU
JUDGING:
5 judges will be chosen to rate all projects entered into the gallery. Judges may NOT join a team. They will rate a project's performance (Uber Lag=0, Epic Speed=10), and then the project's general appeal (Bad=0, Perfect=10).
The rating is added to your team's total score. The 5 judges will rate EVERY project, so a team that has uploaded three projects would get this "report card":
Project 1: _/100
Judge1: _/20
Performance: _/10

YESH!!! That just made my day. Actually I made my day earlier when I got a good race time for butterfly, but it made my day better!

I would like to be a judge, because I can't be bothered with making a project now.

I'm not sure, considering I'm new to scratch, but can I be a judge? Terminator68, my brother, can help me. But it might be pointless considering he is already a judge...
