Summers are hot. beat the heat with a home made A/C!

Yesterday I made an air conditioner. It doesn't work exactly like an a/c but it works.
You'll need a small bowl, a container that fits over the bowl, electrical tape, scissors, a small computer fan, and a screwdriver. cut 2 squares on the container, one on the front, and one on the back. Tape your fan onto one of the holes. fill the bowl with ice
Put the bowl in the box, so the bottom of the bowl is down and the bottom of the box is up. finish by connecting the wires ofthe fanto a 9-volt battery so it blows air over the ice and out the other end. enjoy! also, if the box rests on the bowl, try adding weight to the top.

Not so much an air conditioner than a fan, but still pretty cool!

@sot: yes, but something like a box is better. I used a plastic carton, probably from fruit.
@coolstuff: well, A/C uses a fan that blows through copper pipes filled with cold gas. I don't see much difference.  wink
thanks
off topic: is there any way to stop a Wii from saying .us after every period? it's annoying to delete it
also, sorry about spelling errors, I'm on my Wii.
