Flash Question...

So, I want to get flash. I know there's a 30 day trial and all that, but how much does the actual thing cost? And is there any way to get it free?

Re: Flash Question...

download the flex SDK, flash develop and flixel and get your flash on

A good site to practice is this one http://wonderfl.net/

If you want to compile the code from wonderfl just put it in flashdevelop and hit compile.

Re: Flash Question...

Adobe flash's primary features are art and animation. If you aren't interested in using flash for animations then flash develop and flixel is almost as good for games. Just head on over to the flixel wiki to get started http://wiki.github.com/AdamAtomic/flixel/

You never say it's free so he ignores. (I assume it is free or much cheaper)

I'm glad to think that the community will always be kind and helpful, the language will always be a fun and easy way to be introduced into programming, the motto will always be: Imagine, Program, Share - Nomolos

Re: Flash Question...

Both Flex Builder 3 and Flixel are free. If you want, I can post a link to the Flex free download, as it is sometimes hard to find. Also, ask your school, your friends, and your friendly postal carrier if they have a spare copy of Flash for you to installl; you never know!
