Naw. Being a teenager is a blast! Sure, the HW gets harder in high school, but everything else is fine. Teenagers tend to have more freedom, which I suppose can lead to some tough decisions, but hey, it's freedom. 
But really, going from 12 years and 364 days to 13 years old doesn't really change all that much, so no need to worry.
