Do you mean other companies like adidas, Coca-Cola, etc., or advertisements for Scratch projects? If you mean other companies, the Scratch team won't do it. It'll slow down the website and it would be soliciting kids. If you mean advertisements for projects, I don't know what they'd do.

companies
I think it's illegal to try to solicit to kids via the internet, or at least highly unethical. I hate to sound like I'm just completely shooting this down, but I'm just trying to be realistic.

than scratch projects advertisements
My biggest question about that would be where to put them, but that idea is a lot more feasible.

You don't really have to know where they'd go, since the Scratch team would decide that. That could be like expanding featured projects, and proposed projects for the ads would be on that same thread for proposing projects for featured.

Why would you ever want to add them, you know people pay money to get ads taken OFF of their websites, theyre annoying and stupid.
no advertisements of projects and other things on scratch

You can already advertise your projects in things like the Show and Tell forum. Maybe this topic can give you some hints as to when to advertise
Although what you just posted completely contradicts what you said before that, about companies and stuff. If that was what you were meaning by advertisements (commercial ads to give big bucks to mega-companies), I certainly don't support, because they're both annoying and unethical. At the same time, Scratch is not a for-profit organization, so I don't think they're allowed to do that anyways.

I suggest add advertisements to scratch
Why?? One reason Scratch is so good is that there are no advertisements. It makes NO sense that someone is trying to promote advertisements on Scratch. I'm not trying to be mean but I am extremely confused as to why you wan't this. Why do you wan't this anyway?
Oh never mind. I see that you changed it. In that case, use the link that coolstuff posted up there ^^

yeah, I posted that when it still said that you wanted to advertise for companies. If you want to make your project more noticed, follow the link that coolstuff provided.

I think the best way to advertise is an eye-catching banner in your signature.

Advertising projects? There's the front page for that - it works pretty well.

I think what this guy is saying is to put Scratch company logos in Scratch projects. Or something sort of like a featured project, but it's a company. There's already featured galleries, so that won't work.

No, I think he means advertisements for projects here like you'd find advertisements for companies on ESPN.com
