I think it would be neat in v2 to let other users watch as a person builds a project online.
Thoughts?

I thought of this idea too, but never posted anything about it. It is a great idea, and would make online collaborating, and learning how to program much easier. The implementation process, however, seems quite difficult. It would be a great way to get input from other users, but some may want a little more privacy while working on certain projects. So, they could have an option of not showing there programming live. The person viewing live should not be able to view the files that are opened though, because a lot of computer files contain personal information. Anyways, it would be an awesome idea!

I got the idea from this site http://wonderfl.net/
On the right side of the site you can see people who are doing live coding, and there is a button in the code editor to enable live coding.

It would be interesting, but I fail to see why this would be useful in any sort of way...
Still, I'd like to see how other people script
Maybe with the inclusion of 2.0 everything you do gets sent to the server straightaway, with the new emphasis on making it online. So theoretically it wouldn't be too hard. However, I'd imagine they'd keep the current method, the conventional method, of saving files.

It would be cool. That sort of goes with an idea given many times for people in a collaboration to see in real-time what the other person is doing and see their mouse so they can work together.

I posted something similar to this cause I didn't know it was already posted, heh.
At least there are these neat button things though.
<move( )steps>
That most definitely beats what most any other forums have built into them.
It's a nice second place I guess.

Google wave does it too.

Yes, but Google Wave is much less graphically intensive - it's essentially just text. Scratch has all sorts of data to transfer, and they're not Google, so they don't have what is practically unlimited resources
