What is a zombie post?
A zombie post is a post that has died, but has "come alive again". Zombie posts are very annoying and inconvenient, as you know that the Scratch Team will never get a PM system, so why is this guy bringing up the subject again? They are spawned by Post Necromancers(more on them in the next section).

How does it reanimate?
Well, have you seen posts like, "Bumpity bump"? These posts are not spam. They are made by people who want to keep the topic alive. For example, if nobody wants to play Flag RPG any more, Chrischb could "Bump" it, thus highlighting it and bringing it to the front page. However, Scratchers known as Post Necromancers use a technique called "Necroposting" to reanimate dead posts. This is when Necromancers bump random posts or old and outdated posts.

How do I kill it?
To kill a Zombie Post, simply ignore it. If others do that, the post will become outdated again. Sometimes, this doesn't work. In that case, use your secret weapon, which is....

the report/flag button! This allows the Mods to delete or close the thread. However, don't use it on every suspected Necropost, as this is a bad practice known as FlagSpamming. But what if even your secret weapon doesn't work? Then call in the calvary... they are feared by the evil, loved by the good. They are....

Apocalypse Champions: The Mods!
Yes, the Community Moderators are always there to help, with a smile on their face and a smiley on their post! No Necromancer or Zombie Post can withstand the onslaught of the Mods and their deadly arsenal: Delete Gun, Edit Sword, and, of course, their Close Thread Laser! They will check in from time to time, but you can always summon them with.... the Flag!
