The chat-speak dictionary

In the past few years, with the evolution of texting, abbreviating has become more and more popular. When I first joined scratch, I was completely confused by all the abbreviations. So, I decided to construct this guide to chat-speak.

Abbrevations:

LOL - Laugh Out Loud

ROTFL - Rolling On The Floor Laughing

BTW - By The Way

BRB - Be Right Back

IDK - I Don't Know

IDC - I Don't Care

RTFM - Read The Flipping Manual - When somebody doesn't understand something OBVIOUS.

QFT - Quoted For Truth - For use after quoting a post, saying that you agree.

OMG - Oh My Gosh - Exclamation for something shocking.

FTW - For The Win - Promoting something you are for, or that is great example: Scratch Forums FTW!

FTL - For The Loss - Demoting something you are against, the opposite of FTW.

LI - Laughing Inside - For all those moments that you don't actually laugh OUT LOUD, but you still think its funny.

LMABO - Laughing My Awesome Butt Off

TL;DR - Too Long; Didn't Read - Used when someone doesn't want to read a 'word wall'. (See word wall.)

* - What The Heck - Expressing disbelief.

ROFL - Rolling On the Floor Laughing - A more commonly used form of ROTFL.

ROFLAMO - Rolling On the Floor Laughing Out Loud

LAL - Laughing A Little - Stronger laughter than LI, but weaker than LOL (See Lol and LI.)

WE - WhatEver - "I don't care."

IMHO - In My Humble Opinion

G2G - See GTG.

Terms:

Word Wall - A long 'wall' of words, a large paragraph.

Siggy - Signiture.

Pwn - To beat, destroy, 'own'.

Noob - Immature, or new user.

Nooblet - See Noob.

Noobster - See Noob.

Newb - See Noob.

N00b - See Noob.

Epic - Really awesome, very cool.

Win - Something done very well, high achievement earned.

Fail - Something done poor, or a mistake. Opposite of win.

Über - A German word, widely used on the internet. Something more epic than epic.

Hax! - Something unexplainable, or very 'Über'. Used commonly as "OMG HAX!"

Hacks! - Correct spelling of 'Hax!'. (See Hax!)

H4x! - See Hax!

Please reply with with more. I will update often.
