Character encoding problem on website

First, I had made a gallery with a Hungarian description, and the special characters had been displayed correctly. Then I changed it (under Gallery description), and the special characters went wrong.

After that, I noticed that it's still readable when I change my browser (Firefox) to ISO 8859-1.

So my guess is that the edit box under Gallery description is saving the text with ISO 8859-1 not Unicode UTF-8, in spite of the fact that the website uses Unicode. Am I right? For example: 'Add a comment' works fine. Could you make 'Gallery description' to work the same?
