If you right click in flash, it says "About Flash Player X..." under "Settings..."
or something like that, doesn't it? I've never seen a flash project where you can input a right click function.

Also, I swear people need to learn the difference between Javascript and Actionscript.

You can edit the right click stuff, I think. I've seen people put something like "cheater" or a link to the creator's site in a right click menu.

The cheater thing from Impossible Quiz 2 is just a simple "mouse down" function, it will work whether you are pressing left or right click. The link to the person's site is just a link, and I'm pretty sure you can't do functions, only links.

It disturbs me that my quote about the benefits of Squeak is now at the top of the thread. Just to make it clear, I do not really support using a Squeak plugin for Scratch 2.0. It's a great idea in theory, but since almost no one has the plugin it would make Scratch inaccessible to people who are, for instance, using a library or a school computer.

Have the plugin downloaded when you install scratch then.

But many network administrators at schools, libraries, etc, don't just let users install plugins on demand. However, Flash Player is already installed on virtually every computer.

Well my schools computers don't let you install things unless its to your own folder, but if a teacher installs it to the computer, then the plugin should be installed.

Re: A Protest against Flash Scratch

I totally and fully disagree. Flash would probably work out much better, and the Scratch Team must have their reasons. However, Flash does not work on Macs.

Well thats that point finished with. Why do people realy not want Scratch 2.0 in flash? I see no downside.

Still nobody seems to have an argument against the fact that there will be no right click.

There is a right click in flash. It's just that newbs don't know about it. You can edit the right click menu... Look up actionscript right click menu tutorials.

Re: A Protest against Flash Scratch

1. You CAN configure right click in flash.
2. Squeak does not work online, which is why you get online bugs (java is very different from squeak)
3. Flash is a more universal plugin
4. Flash now has Graphics Accelleration
5. Those scratch mods? If the scratch team leaves in advanced block coding maybe you could, you know, remake them.

It's at the downloads page. Download it there or it won't work.
