Re: Macs.

I'm not a mac user, but Macs are pretty good, but in a different way then Windows and Linux.

Macs are good for multimedia (videos) and graphics.
WIndows are good for general use and gaming.
Linux is good for programming, servers, and security(very little Linux viruses).

If you pull that "You can't right click" on us, I'll use PK... STARSTORM! Omega on you.
On a Mac, it is easier to install things.

Re: Macs.

Yay! I have support! But don't call Giygas. He creeps me out.... especially the music when he's in his final form. You could summon Gigue or Pokey if you want, though.
EDIT: Noooooo! I've messed up on a Mother series fact! It's Porky.

Apple's systems are too proprietary, I hate them too, and they're overpriced.

Overpriced? Just getting WIndows (no hardware, just the OS) costs about $200!
OSX costs about $50 (last time I checked)

Re: Macs.

Linux, however, Pwns them all! It's free, open-source, almost no viruses, lots of programs. That's all I can think of now, but there are most likely more.

Yes, with dual-booting. You can run multiple operating systems, that just makes Macs and PCs more equal.
No, it's not emulating the OS, you are literally running with alongside the other OSes.
And QFT is Quoted for Truth

Re: Macs.

Some Macs can't do that. I had a Windows game, and it can't run on the Mac I normally use.

yeah, mine too. but really, with practically one and a quarter mac laptops, and i have all those, PLUS you can run any type of file on the mac OSX, given you have the right application. malicious viruses are almost non-existent on the mac, and the mac can make applications for almsot any OSes that applications can be made for. including phones.

And Windows does?

Name a good feature that Windows has that Mac doesn't. (And availablity of certain applications doesn't count.)

Anyhow, I'm all for Macs  big_smile  I'm using one right now - a pretty old one, but it still works zippity fast. Meanwhile, my PC of about the same age is unusably slow.

Try to name a feature on Windows/Mac that Linux doesn't have.
Also, I heard that Linux stands for:

Xenophobe
Recursion FTW!

Linux is free.
Linux has no viruses.
Linux can use Firefox.
Linux is easy to use. The only problem I had was finding which program was in which category.
Anything that is open-source can be compiled for Linux.
Linux is Linux.
Haha! I have countered!
