Water Ripple Effect is Deadly?
I was testing the water ripple effect on my personal (as in I'm not sharing it) Scratch mod. After I clicked on the [change [water ripple v] effect by (25)] block a few times, I wasn't counting, but I think it was around 3-6 times, and it completely closed out of it. I didn't press quit, I didn't type CMND+Q (I have a Macintosh computer and keyboard), or anything. It just quit. Does anyone know why this happens? I don't remember too well, but I think about a year ago it did the same thing. Is it just me? I was using the Scratch 1.4 source code, downloaded directly from the Source Code Documentation Site. Why, and how does the WaterRippleDeath happen?

I didn't even know there was a water ripple effect, does it work first time? (As in one click)

It works the first 2-5 times. You didn't know there was that effect because it was deleted, and I did some Squeaking, and found, and resurrected it.
