Scratch Self-Parody
In the spirit of Zelda: The Lampshade of No Real Significance, I've decided to make a game about Scratch. You'll be able to interact with a variety of well-known Scratch users while bringing your proposal to the Scratch@MIT conference. I'm telling you all this because I need permission from several users to put them in my game. I'm hoping Jens, MyRedNeptune, Oldschooler2, Paddle2See, Chalkmarrow, Archmage, Cyclone103, S65 and AndresMH would consent to being in this, although anyone can request. You'll probably just end up having some trading item to give to the Scratch cat in exchange for something else. I'll need a vague description of what you look like, though, so I can draw you. It won't be finished for a few months because of the jerks at Best Buy, but I thought I'd throw the idea out there to see what you think. Thanks!

I will be in it! Just put a guy with a black cloak and a dark red hood. If thats not okay, then...naw.

Surely using the Scratch Cat in a non-commercial Scratch game is allowed? Fullmoon - This is going to be a Scratch game isn't it?
As far as using my likeness in a game - you can see kind of what I look like from my avatar image - feel free to use it.

Wow, i kind-of misunderstood this whole thing. I thought fullmoon was going to make a flash game, because of the newgrounds example.
Using the scratch cat in a scratch application can't really be wrong. Otherwise, clicking share when the program just started up is illegal

Sounds fine to me. And JSO, I'm going to go out on a limb and say that using the Scratch Cat in a Scratch game is not going to be a problem

All right, let's clear this up. The Geek Squad at Best Buy has my computer so they can fix the hard drive. At least, I think it's mine; they haven't called back for a week and I'm pretty sure it's been sent to Taiwan for a few months...

um can i be in it? Just draw some weird looking nerd(THats what people think of me in real life dause Im smart) what i dont get though is how they like my friend who is going to be school president and is smarter then me

Yeah, sure. I'm a bit of a geek myself, although people seem pretty surprised when they find out I'm still using Scratch (they made us learn it at school a few years ago). I got a friend to start using it, but it's something you either like or you don't. Anyway, I'm pretty sure I'll be able to fit you in. Thanks!
