obsolete block, just put ('obsolete' #- #-) in the list block section and it will look almost like the obsolete block.
clone block (does not work in presentation mode)
('clone me' #- #duplicateNoAttach)

where are you putting them? if you're using CYOB in Panther, it's not going to work, you should be pasting that code into the releveant block catagory of the blockspecs in the system brower. ('obsolete' #- #-) HAS to work because it does nothing, and I am not certain that ('clone me' #- #duplicateNoAttach) should work too.

you can also do ('clone me' #- #duplicate) and it duplicates it to the mouse pointer...

i am putting them in squeak

that's true, but when a script is running, you don't really want it to duplicate to the mouse pointer

For the obsolete block, the blockspec should be ('obsolete!' #- #-). To make this block red and look exactly like the real obsolete block, read this post and follow its instructions except in place of 'next costume', put 'obsolete!' and in place of green, put red.
