I like all three Toy Story movies, but the third one was definitely better than the first two.

Pixar should really be independent at some point.

I thought that the villian was creepy. Not, scary exactly, but super creepy. He gave me the chills every time he spoke.

What do you mean by the line: "Pixar should really be independent at some point"?

By that he means that Disney shouldn't be taking control of awesome companies. Did you hear that they bought Marvel? That is just a disgrace.

Like I said earlier, Pixar is NOT a part of Disney anymore. It separated because Disney did not like Pixar's movie ideas (simply put, it gets more complicated). I agree, however, that the fact that Disney owns everything is a disgrace.

Yeah, I agree- it was great. Although, if you haven't seen it yet, I wouldn't bother spending the extra bucks for 3D because it really wasn't very 3D-y if you ask me...

Does anyone know if they're making an Incredibles 2? The ending completely set it up for a sequel. I also think they need to make a FInding Nemo 2, except maybe name it something else so poor Nemo doesn't have to get lost again.

I agree... don't waste money on 3D. I think that Pixar doesn't make as many 3D-y movies as, say, the people who make the Harry Potter movies or Avatar.

Some movies were ment to have sequels and others were not. Here's a list a came up with for Pixar movies:

Key:  smile  = good for sequels

        sad  = bad for sequels

        neutral  = maybe, maybe not

Cars:  smile

Finding Nemo:  neutral

The Incredibles:  smile

WALL-E:  sad   sad   sad   sad   sad   sad   sad   sad

Up:  sad

Alright, even if the two companies didn't separate yet, I think that Pixar wants to.
I watched a movie reveiw online, and they said that Andrew Stanton (The director of many recent Pixar movies) had a few dream projects. Disney does not want to be a part of these "dream projects". That's a conflict that will lead to separation, if it hasn't happened already.

Oh yeah, Buzz in Spanish! That WAS the funniest part of the movie. The rest of it, I thought, was either sadness or drama or boringness or action or something else not interesting.

"My overall opinion: It was okay. It was made for little kids, which broke the record of having two more "adult" films in a row, which were WALL-E and Up. I mean, honestly. Do you think that a little kid would understand the deep meanings of WALL-E? Don't you think that the beginning of Up was too depressing? That's how I felt. The problem with the Toy Story sequels is that there was two much time taken in between them. By the time that Toy Story 3 came out, everyone who saw the first two is all grown up. Like I said, the whole line of Toy Story's is really for little kids. I saw the first one when I was little, but now I'm older, and I'm not as interested anymore. The little kids who are watching the movie now have no idea about the past lives of the characters, so the movie is more confusing to them."

That's what a good friend of mine told me. I agree with her, except for one thing. I think that Toy Story 3 is a movie for ALL ages, not just little kids. I do agree that Pixar waited too long in between the three movies.

Gah. OMG. You just read my mind. I thought Toy Story 3 was overly dramactic, but sort of a heartwarming story as well. I almost cried in the end. I don't like Bonnie...even if she takes good care of her toys. But I liked the Totoro and three peas in a pod toys. Adorable!

Toy Story 3 was a great addition to the Pixar movies! I can't wait for Brave (aka The Bear and the Bow) 2012! I hope they don't ruin Monsters Inc. 2  sad  Cars 2 sounds good (Mater goes with Lightining around the world and gets mistaken for a secret agent at least that sounds funny) too bad the Hudon Hornet won't be back (the voice actor died and i saw that he was written out of the film) COME ON PIXAR HIT US WITH THE INCREDIBLES 2!!!!!! (oh and coolstuff Cars2 comes out June 24, 2011!!!!)

oh and (spoiler alert!) I almost cired at the end! Best part is SPANISH BUZZ!!!!! I love the end creds when Buzz and Jessie dance "That's ok I know about Buzz'z Spanish mode" "My WHAT????" Did you know that Barbie was supposed to rescue them in the first movie but Mattel refused, only allowing her in the sequels?

But back on topic, Toy Story 3 was awesome  big_smile  I like Chuckles XD He looks hilarious, especially when he's telling the story. And Buzz's Spanish mode XD

Lotso reminded me of Prospecter in many ways. Bonnie was so cute.

Also, I found that Sid made a cameo appearance in the movie as a garbage man (did you see the guy with the skull shirt?).

He was the guy with the headphones, right XD He had issues...

I would have though Sid would have gone into some sort of job with blowing stuff up! lol  big_smile

My friend and I are HUGE Pixar fanatics, and we love every Pixar movie ever made. We think that Dreamworks is a Pixar wannabe and it is a pure FAIL. She also said that the reason that Shrek had so many sequels was because the first Shrek won an award for something, and Dreamworks has never won any award before. They keep making sequels so that they might get another award.
Keep dreaming, Dreamworks! You'll never reach the level of Pixar!

BTW, Bolt was made by Disney Animation Studios.
