Scratch Forum Lingo
Now, sometimes you may encounter a strange word that seems to be used in Scratch. To help new Scratchers, I have created this guide!
Bump: To bring up an old and neglected post to the front by posting something(usually along the lines of,"bumpity bump").
Necroposting: Bumping very old and useless posts, or randomly bumping. Not encouraged.
Mod: Community Moderator. These people are here to help you. RESPECT THEM!
Scratch Team: These are the admins of the site. RESPECT THEM!
TBG: Text-based-game. A game played on the forum. They are located here.
Treat others as you would like to be treated: In real life, a famous quote. In Scratch, an even more famous quote by Paddle2See, a member of the Scratch Team.
Signature: A phrase that appears below your post. Only unlocked after 14 days.
BBCode: A piece of code inserted to give a word special effects. The link to the TBG Forum was created using BBCode. So is my signature.
Sticky: A useful post elected by mods to be forever on the front of the forum
Mod Elections: A period of time where Scratchers can vote for Mods. I'm going to run for mod in 2011 myself.
Andremsh: Possibly [i]the[/] most famous Scratcher of all time, and a Scratch Team member.
Paddle2See: The only Scratcher that could compete against Andremsh in terms of fame.
Trolling: A post intended to insult Scratchers. Could get you banned.
Feeding the trolls: Responding angrily to a troll post. Not encouraged.
Flaming: Similar to trolling, but intended at a group, race, religion, project etc. Could get you banned.
Flame War: When many people flame each other. Could get you banned
Spamming: Asking others to go to your project repeatedly. Could get you banned.
IP Ban: A ban by IP address
Scratch Company: A group of people working together to make projects.
Gallery: A group of selected projects. Often used to host Scratch Companies.
Error:Signature could not load. Please wait for an indefinite amount of time, until you realize you're gullible and go off to look for another potentially interesting signature to stare at.

This will definitely be useful 
I remember coming on here and being all like "Huh?" about everything. A couple things to add:
QFT

1s1s1c
The 14 day signature is wrong; it's 15 days 
Also, you might want to add a double line break between each item instead of the current single line break... It'd just be a lot easier to read that way

Some suggestions:
Thread/topic: A place for discussion that can be posted in most forums by members
Post: An individual comment made in a thread/topic
Forum: A specific area to post threads, usually with a certain topic on hand
I didn't explain them very well... you'll probably do better.

Chrischb, those stuff apply to forums in general... I wanted to create one on Scratch Lingo
