<stamp>

Welcome to all new Scratch members who are over 13!
Introducing the new Gallery for Teens to Young Adults or older!

-NOBODY younger than 13 years may enter this Gallery. (Result=Request for destruction of account.)
-NO posting remixes of projects entered here. (Result=Removal of remix.)
-ALWAYS put a "{T}" or "{M}" at the beginning of project name, depending on the content of the project. (If not, I will remove it from the Gallery.)
-Do NOT post projects for people under 13 years of age. (It's against the rules here.)
-You may NEVER, EVER, lure under-age users into this Gallery. (Result=Request for destruction of account.)

What do you mean "destruction of account." You can't do that!

Yes! No threatining! You have little power enough to delete a user anyway! Also I think the T and M are trademarked.

What I meant was "Banning".
And I would be requesting it from the Administrator.

Please remember that DemonFangs is also an owner of this Gallery.

No. They would not ban for a reason like that.

Re: --(Teen/Mature Gallery)--

All projects shared to the Scratch website must be appropriate for all ages - (read the Terms of Use). So it's not ok to have a gallery that is restricted to Scratchers of a certain age.

In short: everyone is allowed to view everything on Scratch. If it's not ok for a younger kid to view, then it's not ok for Scratch.

Scratch On!

Why is this on the fourms? It should be on the gallery itself. And I agree with Lightnin.

Re: --(Teen/Mature Gallery)--

...Epic. Fail. Idea. Did you even look at the URL, much less the terms of USE? it's scratch. mit.EDU. EDU. And you make THIS. I am too dissapoint for words.

Give him a break. He's a new scratcher. Besides, no one ever reads the terms of use on a site cause they assume its all legal stuff. And I didn't know it was .edu for a week after I joined

Re: --(Teen/Mature Gallery)--

The idea seems nice at first but I believe scratch is ment for more of an "all ages" feel, it's not like flash where many of the projects might be for older audiences only... and i'm not entirely sure but i believe since there are younger users on this site such content will be removed by the moderators of scratch, such as explict language, gore, violence, suggestive innuendo or adult acts.  And i'm afraid you can't delete another person's account on scratch, that's just not fair to do to someone.

My point exactly. This isn't Newgrounds. Don't make it that way! (If you did, I would probably die inside)

PW has a point, even in the site's url it suggests that this is for education, I would just look for a different website if I were you. Like PW also mentioned newgrounds is probably the most open website there is for posting anything. Maybe it'd better suit your objective  tongue

Re: --(Teen/Mature Gallery)--

Agreed. Scratch is for all ages. We don't want young users accidentally viewing projects that are inappropriate for them. That just wouldn't be fair.  sad

If you really wanted to share projects strictly for mature audiences, and you were good with HTML/Javascript, you could make your own site for sharing Scratch projects of that sort. I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) that that would be within the terms of service.

Yup. also has a clearer system for knowing what you're getting into. I prefer to know what i'm getting into myself. Don't ask why. I don't enjoy talking about it.
