Ah. I see.
Usually, we're on at the same time, Japan is one hour forward of Australia.

History:
Elucidation was hard to program. Its development took many months and failed numerous times at one stag I gave up and returned 3 months later to start programming it from scratch again. And that’s when things started to progress quickly. I came up with the name Elucidation and set myself a goal. To be the first OS primarily aimed at gaming.

Just as I was about to release the first version of the OS I noticed a major flaw in its programming and so I tried to fix it. After fixing it the OS was so complicated that when I look at it now I have no idea how I managed to program it.

The first release took of slowly and only managed a few views but it looked good. Its initial release came with 3 popular games and it had the ability to add more games to its awesome app feature. It was also one of the first OS’s to have a useful shutdown feature that when you saved it the whole thing didn’t look bad when it was reopened. I updated the OS a few days later to remove the few glitches that it had (2).

That is the history of Elucidation. I hint at a second version that will be totally remade but don’t count on it anytime soon.

I have a program that I'm working on a lot called App Runner. it's still only in the first beta version and doesn't do much. It's kinda like an OS actually. Here's the link: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/Mcsugarface/1175158  Heres the logo: http://i29.tinypic.com/301q8uf.png I might be able to write an article in maybe 2 versions if I advance a bit. Hope this helps!  smile

Re: August Scratchable OFFICIAL Thread

Here's mine:

A long time ago, I saw a scratch project, called windows evolution, by Karx. I was inspired and wanted to make my own. So I started, and it went pretty good, but was quite glitchy. I loved it anyways and I uploaded it, people liked it and I also liked making it. Thus, I made more. It all worked out, until I, one day, had a goal. I wanted to make an OS in Scratch that is fully customizable and is very easy to use. The best. So I started. And I needed a name, so I asked for help, and the scratch community answered. I loved the name Xenotype, by greenflash. It was unique, not too complicated and I could remember it. So, I started building. More versions came out, until I made a breakthrough. Xenotype 7, people started to view my projects and I started to get "famous". I recieved mostly positive comments and very few negative ones, more encouraging me continue. And guess what? I did.

Xenotype 8 is the current version and it allows installing apps, changing backgrounds, adding backgrounds and a lot more.

The End.
fg123

A bit short.  tongue  Don't include this part. Lol.
PS:So what are you waiting for? Go download yourself a Xenotype 8 and start fooling around with it!  big_smile

In 2 versions of the Scratchable I mean.

Actually I guess I can write an article right now:

One day I was thinking about apple and the iPad and iPhone and iPod. And then I got inspiration to make something like it on Scratch. I wanted to make something that was customizable and that you would never get bored with because you could put new things on it. So then I thought about making a program like that on Scratch. I started a very long time ago before I released the first version. I started making plans for it. I was thinking about a name but then I started thinking what it does: Run Apps. So that's how I got the name. Then finally I got to it on Scratch. It started out really well but then it started having a bunch of glitches. It started out with a wrong background, an app was open, it never showed the startup screen, and some apps didn't open. So I stopped for about a month I guess and then finally started working on it again. I updated the startup screen so it wouldn't have as much text(I packed it all in the info app), I updated the logo a bit with color and the little beta sign on the left. I updated the info app and added the Update App Runner (UAP) App and the power light. So then, this is what happened. If I hadn't, well I wouldn't be writing this, you wouldn't be reading this, and there wouldn't be an App Runner Collab.

,Mcsugarface

And that's how the App Runner was made. If you want I can advertise the Scratchable in the App Runner Project I have.  smile
