If you want free music I'd suggest
Incompetech
They offer royalty-free music and all they ask for in return is a mention in credits.

Thanks for the link forest. I like terragen a lot. I don't know about the plug-ins, maybe it is 'cause I don't have any other rendering programmes.

Garageband is a program in iLife that comes bundled with every new mac. Try it! It isn't free (unless you have a new mac)
Newgrounds.com audio portal has tons of independently made music (not found on CD) and is used regularly around the internet. While you're at it, check out MY stuff there.

or you can use gimp. both are image editing. I didn't put the link for Gimp because if you scroll up you can find tons of links to different versions of Gimp. I think these two are the best free softwares that are closest to photoshop.

I personally think that music should be purchased?
People today think that because of the internet open structure it is ok to download free music, but i do not think.
