This would be very helpful. Instead of making a running, i don't know, Samus sprite manually by scripting every 0.1 second to change the costume. You go to sequences under the sprite's options, and link together the sprites in the order you desire.
So instead of "forever wait 0.1 second next costume"
it would be "forever play sequence 'run'"

That makes lots of sense, and would be a great addition to one of the "advanced" features of Scratch. However, I'm afraid it might be a little bit too hard for newer users to understand - and the purpose of Scratch is to be easy to learn and understand, yet you can go a long way with it.

We could have a simple text tutorial in the option. Even then scratch isn't that advanced. If I was able to learn advanced scripts on my own, newcomers will be able to do sequences on their own.
