Was out. But I've heard (and know!) that it is very in-acurate. Read The Shadow Thieves by Anne Ursu.

Eragon: GREAT book, the first book of the Inheritence CYCLE (was gonna be a trilogy, but the author couldn't fit it all in the thrid book, Brisinger) It's about this guy named Eragon who finds a dragon egg that hatches for him. this puts him at danger because this makes him a Rider, and the king Galbatorix is a rider, but he is the only one left because he killed all the others. His dragon's name is Saphira. When the king's nasty assasins (the Ra'zac) kill his uncle, he is forced to flee his home with the local storyteller, Brom (is he just a storyteller?), in order to track down his killers and get revenge.
Kingdom Keepers Series (First book- Disney at Dark) This is about five kids who are turned into (well, are the modles for) DHIs (Disney Host Interactive), hologram hosts at the Magic Kingdom. But when they go to sleep at night, they cross over into the park as their DHIs. They learn from an Imaginere named Wayne, who knew Walt, that the park comes to life at night. All the characters come to life, including the villians. THe villians are looking to take over the park, and are known as The Overtakers. Can the five kids save the park? (the books aren't all out. the ones that are are Disney at Dark [at the MK], Disney at Dawn [at the MK] and Disney in Shadow [Epcot and Hollywood studios]).
Pendragon (series of ten books) Bobby Pendragon lives a fairly normal life until his Uncle Press comes to his house saying that he needs Bobby's help with helping some people. Press takes him on a flume- a connection between universes and time. The flume takes them to Denduron- a mideviel "Terrirtoy." Bobby and Press must help the Milago rise up from oppresion underneath the rule of the Bedoowan. (this describes the first book- The Merchant of Death. the other books in order are The Lost city of Faar, The Never war, the reality bug, Black water, the rivers of Zadaa, The Quillan games, the pilgrims of rayne, Raven rise, and The Soldiers of Halla).
Those are some of my favorite books! I'm working on some book trailers for these on scratch!

Ranger's Apprentice is really epic. So are Eragon and Kingdom Keepers. If you're under 10 years old, Kingdom Keepers is more kid friendly, because Eragon has quite a bit of fighting and some images that might be disturbing to you.

I hope they make a Kingdom Keepers movie! it might be hard though. (and scary) i dont think disney would let them film in the Ultidor and the Small World scene.... i couldn't imagine how many little kids would have nightmares! SPOILER(KK book 3)*************************** gettysburg11, you know how Chernabog and Maleificent are defeated in KK3? There was a line in KK1 that Maleficent served "SHE who lies within" I dont think Chernabog is a SHE... I smell another book! ****************SPOILER DONE And i can't wait for book 4 of eragon. WE NEED A TITLE!!!!! I think either Arya, Roran, or Nasuada is the next rider!

then you should be ok with Eragon... there's no exrtreamly graphic (like Wicked- the book, if a movie was made straight from the book it would be R) things. it does have some violence. it's a great book though! If you read fast and like to know the ending sooner than later, wait a while though. It was supposed to be a trilogy with the books Eragon, Eldest, and Brisinger. however, he couldn't fit everything he wanted to in Brisinger. so, there is an unnamed fourth book on its way. Soon, i hope. I gotta know who the next rider is!!!!!!!!
Kingdom Keepers is great! It's more kid friendly, but if you get creeped out by the small world dolls, read at your own risk... let's just say that there is a scene that would be excelent in movies, but very creepy...
Pendragon rocks! I don't think i did a good job of explaining it in my previous post, but that's because there is so much in it. it's fairly safe too. SAVE HALLA! (you have to read 'em to find out what that means )

Alex Rider ones are quite good.... um most books I read contain strong language so I won't suggest them in case of a certain hammer.

First book: Magyk
It's about: One day, Silas Heap, an ordinary wizard, finds a baby girl in the woods. A few years later, when she is grown up, the Head Custodian, who had just assassinated the queen, goes after them. They head away to the Mirram Marshes with Boy 402, a to-be-custodian, with the help of the ExtraOrdinary wizard, to their aunt, where... (Highlight for rest, but beware, *SPOILER!*).
the find out that boy 402 is there seventh son, Septimus Heap. They also learn that Jenna, the girl, is the Princess. Anyway, that summs it up.
Anyway, read Alcatraz versus (insert something here) series.

I like The Wild Things by Dave Eggers. I'ts anovelized version of Where the Wild Things are. Although it does contain some profanity...
