Why are all of these people being hacked? First it was Dream-Caster, now it is pinochio, and there are probably many others. I getting pretty worried that my password might get changed by someone mysterious. Is there anything I can do to prevent myself from being hacked? Are the rumors about a phishing site true?

First of all, a password thats longer then 5 or 6 characters and has numbers+letters in it should do the trick from a brute-force hacking program getting at your password. And never log into anything other then scratch.mit.edu, they'll probably steal your password if it's made to look like scratch. I don't know what the rumor is, so I can't respond to that.

If you want a guide for creating a strong password, go here.
If you have a good password, the only thing you'll have to worry about is doing things like leaving your password in a place where people could see it.

That site is cool, I had a lot of fun playing with it.
Thanks for the tips, guys! I was really worried because someone said that they had found a phishing site. I guess it was something to scare people with.
