It may not be about being new, but AgentDerp was only introducing himself in a creative way - and this forum is partly about introducing yourself to others.

Wow, great welcome. I would probably quit or feel upset if I tried to join an online community and was greeted by having someone do what you are doing. Com'on, it ain't a big deal. Scratch is about having fun! So leave the thread alone, it's doing you no harm.
