Hi Guys!
As you might not know, I was selected to be a Scratch curator. I agreed to be one on June 18.
Here I have a list of the projects I have curated. I spelled the project names EXACTLY how they were spelled.
Many of the Scratchers whose projects I have curated have been very kind to me as well, and I have tried to return the kindness to them by curating their projects.
Pen_Experiment [1] by dogbloos
I curated this project because I enjoyed the creativity and simplicity of this project. Being able to change the color of the 'ink' was a bonus, and something I really liked was the symmetry of it all. You can see her project here. http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/dogbloos/483644
math man (updated) by chickchaser
I curated this project because I appreciated that amazing fact that chickchaser was able to prgram it to do several kinds of math besides the four basic operations. I know her in real life (but that is NOT the reason I curated her project) and she's a WAY better programmer than me. You can see her project here. http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/chickchaser/885097
Windows Vista Claudiiester Version by Claudiiester
I curated this project because I enjoyed the creativity and fun this project had, and I loved that you could personalize the computer. The computer (or rather, OS) had two accounts-Claudiiester and Guest. You can see her project here. [ http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/Claudiiester/565822
Galaga by victalv
I curated this project because not only does it have fantastic programming, but I loved the classic, arcade-ish style to it. victalv, like chickchaser, is someone I know in real life. She's also a WAY better programmer than me. You can see her project here. http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/victalv/1019311
the amazing music maker by escratch
I curated this project because I thought it was really cool in a lot of ways-you could make music with loads of different instruments. Also, you could set the notes down in an organized way-and there was the option to choose longer values of notes. You can see his/her (I'm not sure which) project here. http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/escratch/568556
Boston Tea Party by antimonyarsenide
I curated this project because I enjoyed the educational value it had, and especially because it was an educational game. His project made learning fun, as well as educational (as learning usually is. ) There was also some prety good programming in there as well. you can see his project here. http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/antimonyarsenide/869116
Pipes by Plasmablade
I curated this project because I enjoyed Plasmablade's incorporation of art and math. I really like art projects, and that was one of the reasons that caused me to curate this. There's also a great design that comes with this package, and I love it! You can see his project here. http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/Plasmablade/1152132
ScratchBand V.1 by wiimaster
I curated this project because I enjoyed the innovative features there were in this music-making program. This is the second music-making program I curated, and they are very different, but I think they are both fantastic. I also curated this because it runs so smoothly, I didn't find any bugs with it. You can see his project here. http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/wiimaster/1057355

hey, kalina, in your signature, the sign thing, it's pretty cool but it actually is commonly used to hack your computer, access your history, cookies and passwords, as well as input custom search results, track your computers online and offline browsing steal important files and infect your computer. So uhh do you think you could get rid of it? It's really creeping me out.

It only mirrors your own imformation back to you, it doesn't input anything.

But he said as they say, as if they're the only ones who say that. I don't know what he's trying to do or prove by using Roman Numerals (if he does at all) but I figure it's generally an image thing -.-
Anyways, should we close up this topic? As great as KalinaStar was as curator, we've got a new one now (it hit me by surprise how fast we changed actually).

So - your term as curator is over. How did/does it feel?
Hi coolstuff! It feels great to have throughly explored the Scratch community from a different perspective. Before all I was thinking was 'I need more views!' and 'Why don't epople like my project? They don't comment on them!'
Now, as a curator, I got to really think about curating people who deserve to get curated. I had to push myself to really look deeper and find good htings, like an archaeologist, in a way. (I like that-Scratch Archaeology!) Being selected as a curator was a great honor for me, and I was surprised that curators get pretty respected by the Scratch community, because I know a few other people who really deserve respect.

Thanks, coka! I'm glad you liked the projects I picked. A lot of them were last minute though.

What I meant by this post was that you probably got well known around the forums for your participation in the old, now closed, TBG forum.
