Laptop wifi problems

My toshiba laptop's wifi stopped working recently. It was working ever since we got it, but it magically stopped.

I used the iPod touch to post this.

Re: Laptop wifi problems

That happened to me and I found out that there was a button that turns it off. Although, my laptop is completely different to yours...

The switch is on, it's enables inside of the device manager.

Then maybe you should check the settings? I don't really know much about laptops.

Re: Laptop wifi problems

Isn't there an option on the computer to "repair" it? I have Win XP and I use Windows to connect to the internet (not the junky software that came with my wifi connector) and this is what it says.

Windows wrote:

Windows did not detect any problems with this connection. If you can not connect, click Repair.

I've used that option before, and it works.

That kind of thing happens to me all the time. I'll think something is broken, but really it was just turned off  tongue .

No, my iPod could connect.

Ok, what is weird is that it just worked. The laptop is a year old anyway.
