What is Papercraft?
Answer:
Papercraft is a form of crafting in which paper is used to create three dimensional objects such as models or sculptures. Some people refer to papercraft as pepakura, in an homage to the large Japanese papercrafting community. Papercraft can be large or small, humble or ambitious, and it is incredibly varied. It is also easy to learn, and the Internet has greatly facilitated the exchange of papercraft designs and patterns. In addition, many Internet forums provide useful tips for budding papercrafters who may be struggling with their work.
This is a link to one of my favorite papercrafts of all time:

Origami and papercraft are actually very different.
Every papercraft/toy is 3D, while most origami is 2D. Origami involves only folding, and is more Japanese(I love origami!). Paper crafts need gluing, cutting, AND folding...I don't condsider it 'art' as much, but it's still fun!
---
Some papercrafts I made are many pokemon, a few chibi Hetalia heads, and Miga(Olympics)! There are many, but if you want them - Please just google them etc.

Papercraft involves glue/tape, right?
Origami is just folding... It's still better

Yeah, glue first - Tape if needed. Origami should nearly never use that stuff, unless really needed! It'd be like sin, if you believe in that.

If you need to use glue/tape to make your origami model not fall apart, you fail.

Yah, especially since it's usually 2D. The only time I'd except glue/tape, is on the shuriken(since it's modular), and MAYBE JUST MAYYBEEE the bottom of a kawasaki rose.
