We also report, which you can't see. That's mainly what we do.
Forum Tattletales? And why would you need 18 people to do that for you?

I'm not trying to cause trouble or anything, I'm just questioning the usefulness of having this "Team" in existence.

Please, just don't post in this thread. Or about this thread, in that case. I will most likely lose patience and start flaming. Yes, even worse than you, and god, that's a big amount. Oh god it's starting.

So you operate a forum team that tries to stop people from spamming and flaming, and supports reporting disrespectful comments, when you yourself can't withhold a hostile comment like that?

That's a rather loaded phrase! It's the responsibility of everybody in the Community to try and see that Terms of Use are upheld. We depend on everybody to report things that don't belong on the site. Please don't discourage people from trying to be helpful by reporting issues.

Please try not to get excited. If you find yourself getting emotional, maybe don't bother to post a response to whatever you found provocative. You are responsible for what you write - no matter what anybody else says to you

I still don't have a reason to join FF, but I'll be your employee as for making more plain badges. (BOREDOM RESULTS)
Here's another one(you could put me on a badge maker list):
And a horribly fashioned userbar!

Although he said it bluntly, that's the gist of it.
I don't see how that would make people report any less, but what Float was trying to tell you is that group reporting isn't necesarry, and just leads to clogged report systems. I heard someone say that a single report will draw the mod's attention, no need for 18. This is a nice group, and all, but it has the potential to cause more trouble then help

Hmm... Now I question the existence of this group.

We have moderators for a reason, you know.
And as a former mod for the TBG, I could tell you from experience only one person needs to report something. If it needs to be taken down, it will be taken down. Getting 18 reports is just annoying, and it doesn't need to happen.
This group sounds like it will just become an annoyance to moderators...If you truley want to do some good for Scratch, report ONCE when you feel it is necessary. No need to go forming any groups.

A little harsh... This is also a way for scratchers too new to become moderators to feel like they are doing some thing good for the forums.

That's great that they feel good, and what not, but if they think they do good, and actually do bad, they grow up thinking bad is good. Do you understand what I am trying to tell you?

I understand, but we're not doing anything bad. We're helping more than causing trouble. As most people say (I never say it, a new record for me!), If you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything. OMG that sounded horrible!

Hi Forum Fighters.
We really appreciate your willingness to spend time and energy taking action you feel will help the forums. It shows how much you care about the Scratch community. However, there have been a few problems associated with groups like this in the past. For example, we found that the "Scratch Police," a group formed by Scratchers some time ago, often responded aggressively to anyone who they felt was being rude or who was possibly violating the Terms of Use. Instead of helping the situation, this tended to make things much worse. The accused Scratcher would respond angrily, then the Scratch police would fight back. etc. etc. until the whole thing turned into a flamewar and a bunch of accounts had to be temporarily blocked.
Remember: accusing someone of cyber bullying can easily become just another form of cyber bullying. So it's important to be respectful at all times, even when you think someone else is being disrespectful. That's why we ask that Scratchers just flag projects, comments, or forum posts that they feel are inappropriate. There's no need to say they've flagged it, or to ask anyone to do things differently - we'll handle that through notifications.
Scratch On!
