Leaving.....
...for vacation! I'm going tomorrow! First to England, then to Toulouse (in France, since my mom is French.) then to Marseille, (Which is also in France!) then we take a cruise boat to CORSICA!!!!!!! I love cruise bots because:
1. Their bathrooms are so cute and small! 
2. IN the bathrooms there are mini soaps!
3. You get little extra stuff on your pillow!
4. The food on the cruise ship is good!!!!!!
I love vacation. It's hard to believe its starting tomorrow! I might be able to get on a bit but probably only in internet cafes and stuff. See you in 5 weeks! Au revoir!

it's actually mon ami......or you could say ma copine that means a friend that's a girl. mon copain is for a friend that a guy.

If the word begins with a vowel, it's always "mon" 
But you can distinguish between a friend who is female or male by adding an "e" to the end of "ami", if the person is female

Well, yeah, but it doesn't matter on this if its a boy or girl, so you just say mon maybe your french teacher messed up a little. (Or maybe you just weren't listening! No, just kiding. 
)

Nope, if the word begins with a vowel, it's "m' " instead of ma. So in this case, it would be m'amie

You are SO lucky, I only ever go away for around 2 days. But my friend always talks about her AMAZING holidays. Once, she even got to ride on an elephant!!!

But if you say ma copine, that implies that it's a girlfriend, instead you would say une copine for a friend who is a girl.
