I have a message and I don't know about it?
I was chatting with someone, one time they replied, I got no You have # Messages but I went to the notifications page and I had a message! And still no messages blue bar!

That's odd... 
Maybe the bar updates after the rest of the notifications page?

I think it's a bug that just started. Now I don't get a blue bar when I do get a message.

The bar takes a few minutes to update - I reported this a while back. One second.

Scratch is a website with TONS of glitches!!! a lot more than other sites. Its no surprise that happened to you...

Lol, I had this a while ago, but vice versa.
On the notification bar:
You have 571 messages
But I didn't get a new notification on the notifications site! There were only 570!
