The 4th of July is America's Independence Day, but for short we always say July 4th, or 4th of July. Pretty much just Parades during the day and Fireworks at night describes what the 4th of July is like.  tongue  Have fun!

the declaration was actually made on the 2nd. our city fireworks were on the 3rd...

Agh... when I lived in the USA it was great watching fireworks, but in New Zealand the celebrations are a lot smaller (and for Bonfire Night). Dx
At least we got to set off fireworks.  big_smile

If we still lived in the USA, we could celebrate! But here in New Zealand, we have to settle with November 5th (Bonfire Night).  sad
