Move with a Platform and still move?

Is it possible to move with a platform moving side to side, yet still be able to move on the platform?

I mean like in a car- it's moving, but you can still move inside it.

Re: Move with a Platform and still move?

Sure, if the platform is moving then it must have an X velocity variable. And so does the sprite. Just set the sprite so If touching platform change spritex by spritex plus platformx.

aka Pain from DragonSpires, Delrith Online, BotBattle, Urban Dead etc etc lol

Ooh - I was making a tutorial like this a while ago! I've uploaded it to my other account - I'll retrieve the link to give it to you  smile
