I have one simple answer...
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

This won't happen. Scratch is meant to teach programming, so you need to learn how to make gravity yourself, or look at a tutorial. Same with bouncing.

But sometimes in real programming languages you get libarys of commands which can be used, such as gravity.

You get gravity? Which language? I'm guessing they also give you jumping scripts?

Theres plenty of libarys for plenty of languages which give gravity scripts and jumping etc.

Scratch isn't supposed to be easy. It's meant for you to learn and figure out things for your self. In fact, Scratch is actually about the project you post, it's about th=e things you program. It's like a starting language for kids to be encouraged to explore more with technology.

Well, Scratch is meant to be "simple," not exactly "easy." They're two very different things. It should be easy to learn, but advanced projects aren't necessarily meant to be easy to create.

That's a bad thing, you're supposed to learn how to do something, not just put a block in.

Re: improvements for scratch

The scratch team considered implementing a feature which allowed you get simple versions of scripts, but it was never done.

I'm sure in the future they might have a sort of script library available for download  smile  Like Scratch Resources, but for scripts.

Like code snippets? That'd be really cool!

Gravity couldn't actualy be a block, unless you stuck them all in one block like BYOB.

Ok, new improvement... An effect reporter.

Re: improvements for scratch

Blocks should be the basic commands for making a script, I don't like the idea of a gravity block.
I have a giant list of my block ideas somewhere, let me find it..
