In this past week, while I was on VACATION, my hamster, Cookie, died. Now That I just got back and I see my mom packing up the cage she used to be in, it really hit me that my hamster, who we had for 1 1/2 years, was really gone. Someone visited our house daily to take care of the pets found her laying on the floor of her cage, dead. We have no idea how she died, but we suspected she had a heart attack. Yes, I was crying as I wrote this, because I miss her. I remember when I first brought her home from the pet store and put her in her new cage. She immediately ran to the wheel *sniff*. She seemed so happy. This is to you, Cookie.

That sucks. I remember when my dog went rabid and killed a bunch of rabbits, and we had to put it down. I was really young so I didn't understand the concept of death quite yet. At least Cookie's in a better place. Rest in peace.

I think I might make a Project for you ^^
Sorry for your loss...

I know that the text on your computer screen right now cannot ease the pain of your loss, but I would like you to know that I'm very, very sorry and hope that Cookie is in a better place.

I'm so very sorry for your loss of your beloved hamster, Cookie.
I felt the same way way my 3 pet cats (we also have a turtle and a dog and some birds) died. They all died of the same thing: Liver Failure. What's weird is they all died one year exactly apart from eachother.
RIP to Cookie, Puss-Puss, Nala, and Sammy, and anyone else's beloved furry little friends.

I know you're probably really sad, but you're not alone. I had a dog about six years ago, but he kept biting people and misbehaving, and we had to give him away. I never saw him again. I suppose knowing that my dog is probably still alive somewhere is a little better thank knowing that he isn't, but still...the loss of a pet hurts.

That's a bit... odd.

I will greatly miss my 4 pets when they pass away, especially my cat, Plain. Cookie is in a better place, and if you don't forget her, the memories will live on forever.
RIP Cookie.

Thanks to all of you for making me feel better. I do have some good news, however. Today, we went and got GERBILS! We now have two female gerbils named Artemis and Adelade.
BTW, the person who found Cookie dead made a nice grave in the backyard and buried her there.

I hate it when pets die. ;( So sad. And even though it's not my pet, I'm very upset. ¦,C(

Bobby the gerbil was alive too until recently. Actually a few months ago, we lost him, and a few weeks ago back in June, I was cleaning the vaccuum cleaner, when I sort of.. found him. Bad memories.

That's almost funny.
So sad...
Sorry for your loss. We recently lost 3 fish from chlorine poisoning.
It was more than 3... The official number has not yet been disclosed from my sister.

It might've been a funny situation if it weren't for the condition I found him in. Trust me, you don't want to know.

It's okay it's not really offending. He was missed, but the sadness is nearly faded by now.

I remember when my first hamster died, it was really sad, I was 9 or 10 years old too. I didn't wanna go to school that day. She lived to 4 years, which is quite amazing for a dwarf hamster.

I feel your pain. My brother once owned a hamster named Softie, and one day, I left a door open, and Softie ran out. We never saw Softie again. I'm also sorry for you're loss

All my fish are dead. The first one died ages ago, It was probably because the water was dirty. Then, about a year and 1/2 later 2 more died, at the exact same time! I knew when the last one was dying. It swam around a bit, then stopped and sank to the bottom. I tapped the side of the tank, and it moved a bit more, and sank again. I kept this up practically all day, but the next morning it was floating at the top, dead.
