If I could get an email every time something happens in scratch (and even better the forums also) then I wouldn't have to keep checking my messages in scratch all day.

Well, notifications for the email would be good, but I was under the impression that most Scratchers used fake emails, so that would be hard. As for the forums, go to your profile settings and email digests. There should be a panel or something there that will get you what you want.

Yes, as previously mentioned, you can get email digests right now. But do you have any idea how utterly pointless that is? You get the entire forums emailed to your inbox every day. Waste of space, IMHO.

I think a system where they send you emails when you get notifications would be nice. Or, we could bring back subscribing to threads. Either way, I support!

I hat multiple (and countless) messages form one site. If I get an e-mail evrytime I was notified, I would change my e-mail to one Scratch doesn't know.

It usually takes me all day to get through my mailer. smile It would definitely be MUCH better if we had stuff like this.

They could always update the server, but I don't think they'd do that just so people could get faster updates.

If I just got an email anytime something happens, a comment, love it, favourite, remix, friend, gallery, or one of the forum threads I've posted on has been updated. All that should go to my email. And the digest... those are useless unless you want to sit at your computer for hours reading updates on the forums.
