I know, it's not a great idea. Well they haven't been online in forever so I wouldn't worry about them. They have been hacked.

They weren't hacked. Just powercrazy kids with no power who group bully people they *think* are bad

Who are the scratch police, anyways?

I used to be fire_snake you know? I was trying to suck up to the virus so I could attack him but I decided to close the account. I want the scratch team to like me as a brilliant programmer instead of a jerk hacker. I am very good and helpful now but I don't think the scratch police does anything.

Does anyone actually care?

Well, the concept behind the Scratch Police (that is, publicly naming Scratch projects and/or Scratch users) is a bit of a concern, as it is more preferred that users silently flag or report things on the website that might be inappropriate. Typically, the nature of the public exposure method usually lead to a bigger debacle that requires more moderation as opposed to a silent report that is usually resolved faster.
To quote something Lightnin said earlier regarding the treatment of behavior:
Lightnin wrote:
In general, we'd prefer that Scratchers did not join together to flag projects as a group. We review every project that is flagged, so all it takes is one flag to bring it to our attention.
I believe this extends not simply just to projects, but also to other areas where bad behavior might be prevalent such as project comments. Massive gang-flagging on one issue is discouraged on the Scratch website.

Isn't that what that user [removed by Moderator] is doing with his [removed by Moderator] Group?

Well, I wouldn't really know
Up until a few minutes ago I thought they were kids pretending to be police officers

Lawl.
Well yes... After reading what Cheddargirl said, I have to agree it seems outrageous.

Yeah, but now the [removed] and [removed] are there too. I just hope they don't go power hungry, like the others. That would be the worst case scenerio. Actually, getting power hungry and being put in a position of power would be the worst case scenario.

But on the forums, there's no automatic removal after flagging multiple times, they'll just annoy the moderators

Maybe we should disband the [removed] before someone troublesome actually comes, and [removed] orders all of his workers to flag all of this user's posts.

Well, I have only been here a week. Well actually, I signed up and didn't even visit for the first few days. Let me go check the time of my first post.

We all say that we are tolerant of everyone and everything, such as religions or nationalities, but it seems wherever there is diversity, there is chaos. We have such diverse projects on our site, this causes the programmers to hate the artists and vice versa. We start flame wars, and get flagged then banned. This is the cause of most of our drama.
