Basically all you do is wait and upgrade your house. You can idle the game and do something else in a different tab while you save money.

That's pretty much what you do in these Idle games... for some reason people love 'em.

Basically all you do is keep gaining money. If you choose you can either do nothing and watch the screen while doing so, or pull up a new tab and do something else. You let the game "idle" and wait for it to accumulate money to buy cool upgrades n' stuff.

What's not so good about scratch idle games is that you can't save.

Idle games with things to buy are more popular, how about something like...
You get 1 money/second
You can spend 1000 money to increase your money gain by 1
