Long text scaring you? Don't worry, just read the 'Welcome' and rules - And go post!
Welcome to Yamanimasa Street! This thread is/will be the first Official Scratch MMD Thread. Share your models, accessories, motion data, pose data, videos, and more! Anything MMD/Vocaloid may go here.
This thread's purpose is for MMD using Scratchers to get together, and share. Maybe your exicted, because somebody is making a model for you? Or perhaps, you want to show a new model? It's possible you just want to share some Vocaloid related stuff too.
You Can Share...
MMD RELATED
-Models(e.g: A new Miku model)
-Accessories(e.g: magnet head phone accessory)
-Motion Data(e.g: Nyan Nyan, Love & Joy, etc motion data)
-Pose Data(e.g: Pose data for Miku's box art pose)
-Videos(e.g: A cool MMD PV, or dance you made)
-Questions about the program, models, accessories, motion data, pose data, and glitches/problems
VOCALOID
-A cool new song(e.g: Song
-Your new favourite Vocaloid
-Facts on Vocaloids/Songs(e.g: "Teto is a UTAULOID!")
-New Vocaloids(e.g: "Lily is a Vocaloid 3?")
-Your Fanloid/Vocaloid OC(e.g: My Satsune Sakehime)
-Or anything else MMD or Vocaloid related!
-The colours from each heading represent a Vocaloid
-Not all Vocaloids are on a heading(Such as the amazing Kamui Gakupo)
-Vocaloid is from Yamaha, and many MMD models are made from Animasa(all the defaults, and others too). Yamanimasa is cross between Yamaha(Yama) and Animasa(animasa).
-Kamui Gakupo's voice and name, are based from the famous Japanese, Jrocker, Camui GACKT.
-All Vocaloids have an item, if not official, then fanmade
-MikuMikuDance(MMD): is a 3D choreography tool. There are different versions aswell - The first is the original, where you can do various things with the Miku model. In the second, it is possible to use more models in your scene. The given models are 3 Mikus, Kaito, Rin, Len, Neru, Haku, and Meiko. You can download more models off the internet aswell. The last one is also Multi-Model, but for newer computers. You can download it in english, here(tutorials are there too).Sorry Mac users, but I believe this program is only for Windows/PC since the program is an .exe file.
-Model(s): Models are like your 'puppets' to use. In the first version, you have Miku. In the second and third, you have the models listed above, and you can download more.
-Accessories: Accessories speak for themself. You have a few starters, and you can download more for any version of MMD. They can vary from stages to head phones, and can be 'attached' to models too.
-Motion and Pose Data: This is data that you can save to use in future times. Pose data is a single pose, while Motion Data is motion(it could be a dance or anything).
There are rules here too!
1)No Spamming
Nobody likes a spammer!
2)Research first
Before editing, and redistributing any models, find out if you're allowed too. Anomaro gives permission, and Nanami does not allow any redistributation AT ALL. Everybody is different, respect their models.
3)Respect others
Don't be rude to others here please, this is supposed to be fun for MMD using Scratchers. Don't be a complete MMD Police either - What's an MMD Police? These people are people who are trying to protect models from being redistributed, but sometimes it can be fairly annoying, especially when their research hasn't been done before accusing.
MORE RULES MAY BE ADDED
Model of the month will start in July! There will be a new model of the month, every month possible.
-VPVP(not to be mistaken with VPVP Wiki): VPVP is the site where you can download MMD in english, and there are few tutorials
-VPVP Wiki: is an amazing site for MMD. Even though it's in Japanese, the link is translated with Google Translate. It should be fairly easy to navigate with, there are some mistranslated(e.g: Megurine Luka is Luka Round) names, along with odd grammar.
-MikuMikuBeat: Is a very well made english MMD site! Even though there aren't too many things yet, it links to other sites, along with posting updates frequently.
OTHER SITES WILL BE ADDED.
Maybe YOU have a Vocaloid OC, or your own Fan Vocaloid(Fanloid)? Whether it's for fun, or you want to make a voice bank(like me) - You can get them a small profile here!
Satsune Sakehime(Penguinsrock)
Bio: Female, lower, womenly voice - Split personality. Might get a voice bank.

So basically it's a music thing,correct?
Vocaloid is, the MMD program is for creating videos etc. Example: http://www.scratch.mit.edu/ext/youtube/?v=KbCaeAbDmgA
The user would have posed, and 'programmed' everything(not exactly programming), and has made the video. You can create PVs, scenes, many animation things.
EDIT: Here is one, nearly ENTIRELY made in MMD. http://www.scratch.mit.edu/ext/youtube/?v=OKD0dYgcFjc&feature=related

Where can you get this program?
It's not completely easy, and is a little confusing. If you can do pivot well, MMD will be a little easier. Go to "MMD Resource Sites", for sites and the download.
It's .exe file, so I think that's only for Windows. Sorry if you're a Mac or Linux/Unix user.

Many. Here's a good one. http://www.scratch.mit.edu/ext/youtube/?v=Hz6R3zQVxUM&feature=related But it's better if you already understand bones. How about you see the stuff on MMD Resources? Those sites have tutorials etc.
