COPY and PASTE

hey if you wanted to script mulitiple sprites with the exact same script but the script was fairly complicated and you didn't want to build it like a billion times is there a way to copy and paste your scripts from sprite to sprite?

Much appreciated:

Re: COPY and PASTE

Drag the top block of the script to a sprite inside of the sprite list (where all the sprites are below the stage). This will copy the blocks into another script for you.

Also, if you want to create copies of a sprite, use the stamp tool that is above the stage (it is next to the mouse-pointer)

Re: COPY and PASTE

Even better, get the rubber stamp tool and do shift-clicks to keep the tool while you make copies.  (One of those secret shortcuts only documented in the forum!)

Re: COPY and PASTE

1. wat are shift clicks?
2. if u wanted to copy a script in the same sprite then right click on the top block of that script & click 'copy'.

Re: COPY and PASTE

Sorry---I have a Mac with a one-button mouse, which means that I don't have right-click or middle click.
Your "right click" is a "shift click" on a Mac.
