Believe it or not, I COULD have the most friends on scratch. I have 11 for some reason...and I'm not sure that is a good thing...

(p.s. why is it that someone can have you on their friends list without being on yours? shouldn't a friend request entitle one person to request and one to accept before they appear in either person's list?)
I get about 2 or 3 every month. I just check and see If I know them, and then depending on the out come I either add them, or just delete the message.

They could just be people that are forced to come on because of school and then feel like adding friends.

Thats what he was talking about.
My site Find someone post count. Click posts under username. Find number of pages. Times that by 40 for min and 60 for max and you have a rough estimate of post count.
