Bug in "Delete a variable" function?

The function "Delete a variable" does not seem to work properly in the case when there is a large number of variables such that the pop up list of variables (from which you click the varaible to be deleted) is displayed only partially, followed by a "more..." sublist.

In this particular case, it systematically deletes the first variable in the list, even if you exit the function by clicking somewhere outside the list. I lost several variables like this untill I realized what was happening.

Re: Bug in "Delete a variable" function?

I wonder how many variables you created? I was trying to recreate the problem, and had to go up to 42 variables. On the 42nd it's now stuck...

Right. It starts happening at the 42nd variable, when the variable display window switches to the "more..." sub-window mode.
