It is really annoying to have to put the url tags on the links, so I was wondering when, if ever, this will be normal again?

Well, yes, it's possible. The thing is, New Members aren't supposed to be able to post links. We can't turn this setting on for just one user group, so then New Members could post links again if it was turned back on... Quite a predicament!

I normally use the url BBCode for 'formatting' links so they have special text. Like this - your links can have any text you want! big_smile

So it doesn't really bother me. tongue

The links would work even without the tags... that's why they didn't use them.
