I think that in Scratch 2.0 there should be collapsable scripts. That would mean that a script that looks like this:
Would turn into a script that looked like this:
and when you mouse over it:
This would de-clutter the script area, and speed up Scratch. Especially in 1s1s projects.
And now, thanks to Harakou, we have this idea:
collapsable C blocks!

It's a well though out idea, but imagine collapsing all of your scripts, and going back to fix a tiny thing. Where will you look? All your scripts will look the same. I'm kind of half and half about this idea...
I know, that is one problem, but doesn't that happen anyway? Also, think about how much it will speed up Scratch if it doesn't have to display all those scripts!

Maybe if you hover over it it'll show a snippet or beginning of the script?
I also support this idea!

You could also have a comment show for each script.

What about if you could give each script a name? The default would be "(Sprite name): Script (Number of the script, by age of hat block)", but you could change the name to whatever you like, keeping "(sprite name)" permanent, so:
Sprite1: ScrollX Script
ScratchCat: Gravity
Stage: Colour effect changing
et cetera... of course, you could keep the script names as the default... ^^ I support!

And then we could add the script name blocks, like rename etc...

I was thinking about those, but it just makes it more confusing to the younger users.

There could be numbers for each script, in the order you scripted them.

This is kinda like my custom blocks thing, but not too much. The only problem with this is that there are no names, other than that, it's cool.

I'm not sure if I support... it seems a bit odd, but that's just me - and being odd doesn't make it immediately bad, right?
I don't think I'd use this, but it would be nice - it's great for saving space, and would help to keep some scripts in sight without having to scroll down and view the rest.
Half-support.

It'd be cool and save space, but this is what you might get:
How would you distinguish your scripts?

Sounds good to me.

I go back to my original idea:

Maybe if you hovered your mouse over it, instead of just a snipped it would expand into a little window showing the script like Mac OS X 10.5/6 has when you click on an icon and press space.

I've never actually used that feature
But I think it would be a great idea. Or, like somebody above mentioned, naming your scripts - and I guess you could just comment on them, too.

I've used it... Accidentally.

Hmm, maybe... but you can't see all the scripts at once.
But it'll do.

That would work.
