I haven't bought it yet, but I play it at my friend's house.
It is awesome. Much better than the first because:
1) More epic storyline
2) New and elaborate worlds
3) Yoshi
4) New Mario Forms
5) It's just that awesome.
I've gotten lots of awards in competitions, so my grandparents are getting me tons of prizes. Galaxy 2 might be one of them.

Oh, and they can completely kill enemies if they do it right. But yeah, it's nothing to be excited about.

I got it and it is great! I was a bit disappointed that just like the first one, the game is very easy, but then going back to find all the green stars on levels you have completed already does take some time. The controls stayed, which is good, and the graphics remain pretty good. Still no big multiplayer, but that shouldn't be an issue.
