IDEA:

Use the obsolete comment block as a "Custom Code" block.

Re: ScratcHTML

Awesome! I hate HTML but that's because I hate typing it in Notepad.  tongue  I'm thinking instead of a

=B=====
| [My stufz]
=======

it could be

=Bold=====
| Text [My stufz]
=======

and other little word changes like that. I like it without a menu bar and things like that (keep it simple) but a stage for the page (  smile  ) would be a nice scrollable third column. You could right-click and select [update] or it would do it automatically.

Those are my ideas.

bye 1.4, we all loved you. but we all outgrew the site. 2.0 is a welcome change.

@scratchisthebest: The screenshot is from version 0.0 alpha, so I expect billyedward will change the block text once he's got the code down.

Yeah, I don't use autotune. I don't sing either, but that's irrelevant.

I want this to get finished (or at least for a beta version to come out) so I can effectively make a website I'm thinking of! (And I'm not talking about Weebly or something like that...)

Will this program be able to import HTML and turn all the code into blocks?

I like it how it is with the blocks, but I agree with the scrollable web browser "stage".

Yawn, another boring text signature. I should really make something better.

Also, will it be able to import images to be used with it?

That would be amazing!

I'm pretty sure I emailed you before...so you have my email. Could you send me a beta if that is ok?

Re: ScratcHTML

Will you be able to upload a project to the website (i.e, there's a link on the website that goes to your project in the browser) or would that be too complicated?

Re: ScratcHTML

What about adding an id attribute so we can use document.getElementById(), and could you make ScratcHTML into the server as well? Looks AMAZING, when are you releasing a beta? By the way you just gave me an idea: being able to export scratch projects as XML.

No, it doesn't make a website for you, it saves as a .html document that you can use on a website. You still have to pay for the domain.

Maybe a free hosting site like 000webhost.com

Instead of text based HTML, it's block based and easier to use.
