I love writing books
Chapter 1:
I looked out the window at the beaches and people. I was flying to Mexico. The warm sun on your back, while lying on a Mexican beachside, listening to the beautiful waves crashing on the shore. All of that stuff everyone loves- I hate. I didn't even want to go on this stupid trip anyways. I somehow got tangled into going on a trip with my geography teacher, Mr. Davidson as his 'special student'. I won some stupid contest without doing anything! I can remember the moment: 'Will Josh Jenkins come up on the stage and receive his ticket to Mexico!' The MC said. There was mass cheering that didn't make me feel better about the whole thing.
'Josh? Lighten up, will you? Your a lucky fellow to be on this trip!'
That was Mr. Davidson. He was the kind of 'Kindly men' who use the word 'Fellow' every sentence.
'I don't want to be on this trip....' I mutter.
'Come on Josh, it will be fun!'
'Only for the fools who actually want to go on this vacation...' I say quietly, trying not to let Mr. Davidson hear my cheeky response. He glared at me. Yup, he heard.
'Josh, this stuff costs money, and I don't like you making me feel like its a waste! If you don't want to be here, why don't you-'
Before he could finish lecturing me, the plane lurched forward making us feel like throwing up. The tight seat belts didn't help either.
'This is your pilot speaking' A crackly, muffled voice said, emitting from some speaker on the roof. 'The plane is crashing. Please engage in emergency procedures.'
Great. I'm gonna die on a trip I don't even want to be on.
Chapter 2:
I jumped into action. I grabbed everything I needed, and ran to the life jackets. I picked one up, and pulled it on over my head. I was about to get a parachute but then I remembered- Mr. Davidson! I turn around. I knew I wouldn't have long. I ran back to our seats and saw him, on the ground. He must have passed out or something. I leant him over my shoulder, one arm wrapped around me and ran. Well, TRIED to. Its hard to run with your 97.6 kilogram geography teacher dragging behind you.
I went over to the parachutes, but then I thought 'Its to late now. Everyone else has jumped already, and we are probably going to hit the water soon.'
I was right. We smacked into the water and were sinking. Already, some water was getting in. I tried to get to the door but the plane was on its side, the door far above my head. I frantically tried to grab the handle, but couldn't. I needed to tip the plane so it is level. I had to go fast, because the plane won't float long, and the engine will probably catch fire before we sink. I tried to make more weight on one side by piling luggage there. It worked a little, but not completely.
I started smacking myself into the side of the plane. It wasn't a large plane, it was a private one, it only held 7 people before it crashed, so I had some hope.
I kept smacking myself into the wall, slowly (and painfully) tipping it.
I gave it one more hard smack. A little to hard. Blackness was coming around me, and then it went completely dark. I didn't even completely tip the plane.
This trip is going even worse than I expected.
