Scratch

You still have school? Anyways, I have the beta to (or had) and I find the new variables confusing. I also like the High Score List pen thingy idea as it would be easier to make high scores lists. And when will we be able to share these projects? I used my CFCRubiks account to share a project, but someone said it doesnt work

Yeah, I agree, especially concerning textboxes. I'm also kind of disappointed that there's no way to compare strings, find their length, convert values/strings, find parts of strings, concatenate strings (add them together), etc. My dream Scratch has GUI parts that you can attach to a sprite's costume via the paint editor. Then a new block category (GUI) would let you enter and retrieve date into these. This seems somewhat confusing, so I'll whip up something on Photoshop later to show what I mean.

Um, I clicked that and downloaded, what do I do next? It is not doing anything other than saying it needs to know what program created it. Does this mean I drop it into a squeak workspace?

Well, on a Mac, you just click it. You might have to Ctrl+click it and choose the Scratch program (so it opens with it).

Um, its in my temp folder, how do I get to that? I forget where that is

Ok, well. at the very least I can find the scratch friend of tammy, my current time and temperature, and weather forecast for the day. and another word for "fun"
