It has Wii graphics not Gamecube. Nintendo never confirmed it had Gamecube 128 bits. it has 256 bits (Wii)

the gamecube graphics were a guess. i just assumed nintendo wouldn't sell a handheld that is as powerful as there home console. like i said handhelds are normally 2 gens back. but i should have guessed that seeing as the 3ds uses the DMP PICA200 graphics card (06 model-the wii came out in 06 to) but i wonder WHY use the 06 card instead of the newer 08 model?  BTW if anybody wants to see the graphics card in action heres a link

Actually, it does display 3D graphics, without the glasses too o.O

But I'm making sure I get a 3DS as soon as they're released in the Uk xD

it uses a parallax barrier. think of it like this there is a red pixel and a blue pixel (left to right) and there is a block between. when you are in the "sweet spot" your left eye would see red cause the barrier was blocking my view of the blue pixel. and same for my right eye. it would see blue and the barrier would be in front of the red pixel. making it so both eyes see different images. if anybody still doesn't get it look at the diagram here

...That was a cool demo. Okay, im less of a skeptic now!

glad i could help    ever sense about a week before e3 i've been keeping up on as much info as possible so when theres something big i'll let you guys know. oh and just in case any of you were wondering a European video game seller has marked the 3ds as 170 euros witch is about 200$ in us money. so expect 200-220 price range. oh and here is the page with the info on price.

I will be getting a 3DS, even though I already have 3 DS's. I can't wait to get one.
