No word yet from the guys at the top, but you should take a look at the latest tweet from the Scratch team*. Apparently they, well, kicked some Web 2.0 butt in the Digital Media and Learning competition. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe this means ONE HUNDRED AND NINETY THOUSAND SMACKAROOS for Scratch 2.0 (and maybe a new fridge or something, you guys deserve it!)
Congrats, Scratch Team!
*This marks the first time Twitter has ever informed me about something useful.

Yeah. I heard it from you, up in the Announcements forum. You'd better get up to the Astrogeek forums, too, we're dying out.
I'd like to see what areas of 2.0 this is going to. I had previously recalled that Scratch was run by Universities, and as such was entirely volunteer-run - or fail the course. But, hey, I guess I was wrong!

Yes! Those "smackeroos" might speed up 2.0 and more importantly get archmage and all of those quitters back!
